In 2008 I moved from a primary role of developer at Metservice to User Experience Designer with Westpac NZ. I realised of course that I had been a UX practitioner my whole life, solving user problems and designing experiences and interfaces from the days of buttons, switches and lights through to our current hi-tech appliances. Although the technology has changed significantly, user needs have not and I have found my experience over the years is still as relevant now as it ever was, in some cases more so.
In 2015 I finished at Westpac and have since worked on contract for organisations such as ACC and CAA, as well as applying my skills and experience to projects in my community and communities of interest.
