Whangaruru Harbour/Upper East Coast

North of Whangarei along the east coast there are many bays, most of which are as yet unchartered by windsurfers. Most of the roads in the area are gravel, and there are few towns. Tutukaka is a beautiful place to visit and provides good long- boarding conditions for all levels. At Whangaruru there is a campground right at the end of the peninsula.
