*Whangarei
Whangarei is one of the earliest settle- ments in New Zealand
and is situated right inside a large harbour providing good
windsurfing conditions in many different places. It is very tidal
so care must be taken. At the mouth of the harbour is a hilly
peninsula with some great walks, and beautiful bays for
exploring.
