*Nelson
Nelson is the home of craftspeople, fruit and vegetable
growers and brewers of wines and natural beers. Drive past Nelson
to Motueka (interesting locals!) Not noted for it's wind, it has
several beaches which can be sailed when the wind is around, and
theres heaps to do otherwise, especially mountainbiking, swimming
and tramping, with several national parks within a couple of
hours drive, from the Abel Tasman (coastal), to the Nelson Lakes (mountains).
