Raglan
Raglan is a holiday town on the west coast offering both
harbour and ocean sailing and excellent surfing conditions. Not
far away is the fourth largest city in New Zealand - Hamilton,
which has been built up along the banks of the Waikato River. To
see and learn about the history of Hamilton, take a paddlesteamer
ride through the city centre.

Access: 20 minutes drive from Hamilton. There are
toilets, and plenty of parking and rigging areas, and a camp
ground.

Wind: NW,W,SW. Works best on hot summer days
= strong W seabreeze.
Water: Flat - chop.
Watch: Strong outgoing current reaches up to
8 knots.
    
Access: Sail out from the harbour to the bar.

Water: Reaches up to 2m especially big out
the back.
Watch: Surfers, it a popular spot for them
too.
